Looked Up

Damn these guys are good. Joe Z is one mean, lean, rock and roll machine. This band puts out the power and never forgets the melody. Good hooks and good harmonies (in places) make this an easy listen. They may be under the radar now, but not for long.

I agree with the other guy who wrote a review!! Even though there aren't many reviews to look at or trust- you should definetly try The Like Young because they are truly one of a kind!!

good god

The only way i can describe listening to this music is to go from being alseep to awake. You listen to their songs now, knowing full well that they will remind you of a time and place later in life. Just buy the album, forget the 99 cents.

Amanda (drums/vocals) and Joe Ziemba (guitar/vocals) are responsible for the punky indie rock sounds of the Like Young. Hailing from Chicago, the two have been playing in bands since 1997, and in 2002, they married. That same year they released the mini-album Looked Up Plus Four and readied their ambitious punk-inspired sound for the masses. Engineer Barry Phipps of the Coctails joined the Like Young for the recording of their studio full-length debut, Art Contest, which arrived in 2003. Chicago...
