Get the Video Up on Itunes Apple!

Great CD, but the original CD had a mpeg video buried on it that you wouldn't find unless you opened the CD up on your computer. It was a great interview with Ray Charles at a photo shoot for this CD. Fantastic interview to go along with a fantastic CD.

Love this album!

I love this album. There are so many wonderful songs and they are all done wonderfully. Ray Charles is a brilliant musician and each of the artists singing with him bring a new flair to each song. I highly recommend this album.

Awesome Album

I own this album and was very pleased to see it on itunes. The great stars and the great music make this my favorite blues album ever. Ray Charles is one of the best blues/jazz musicians of our time. I highly encourage you to take a look at this album. I assure you that you will love it. I sure do.

Ray Charles was the musician most responsible for developing soul music. Singers like Sam Cooke and Jackie Wilson also did a great deal to pioneer the form, but Charles did even more to devise a new form of black pop by merging '50s R&B with gospel-powered vocals, adding plenty of flavor from contemporary jazz, blues, and (in the '60s) country. Then there was his singing; his style was among the most emotional and easily identifiable of any 20th century performer, up there with the likes of Elvis...
