Fresh Country Rock Tunes

Being an admirer of Angie and the Deserters for some time, I was a bit anxious about the new more country interpretations of their earlier songs (Riding the Belly is on regular rotation in my music library). This album, however, does not disappoint. "Forgetting to Forget", "Stay" and "Goodbye" really stand out musically more than before and, although, nothing beats the heartache in unplugged version of "When the Nighttime Comes" (Please Angie release it) my ears are pretty pleased with the album version. Looking forward to more of the good stuff.
