Album Review

One of Glee's biggest (perhaps only) concessions to the realities of being a high-school student was the graduation of several cast members entering their final year at William McKinley High School at the end of the show's third season; many shows starring teen characters put off that fateful moment when high school ends for as long as possible. Glee: The Music - The Graduation Album focuses on performances by many of these seniors — including Finn (Cory Monteith), Rachel (Lea Michele), Puck (Mark Salling), Mercedes (Amber Riley), Quinn (Dianna Agron), Santana (Naya Rivera), and Kurt (Chris Colfer) — of songs that are or will be staples of the cap-and-gown set. Aside from a few rockers like the obligatory "School's Out," "We Are the Champions," and "Glory Days," the mood is fairly solemn by Glee's standards, with songs such as "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)," "I'll Remember," and "Forever Young" dominating the set. Meanwhile, the New Radicals' "You Get What You Give" and fun.'s "We Are Young" add a dose of quirky personality.

Can't believe this is the end

Wow- they're already graduating! I'm going to miss them all whether they come back or not. Not a terrible mix of songs and they sound pretty good, though I would have wished other songs they did could have been included.
Other than that the only complaint I have is that the parts of who's singing aren't balanced. There's a ton of Finchel and barely any Quinn, Mike, Mercedes, and Santana. Also, Brittany isn't graduating and that is a huge problem for me.
But otherwise a great album.

I cannot believe that they are graduating it is so sad! I have been a true glee fan since the show aired, watching all the characters grow and live. I know i will probably cry my eyes out tomorrow watching the 2hr special. This Album is great and has all amazing songs, it is a glee fan must have! PS I am the first to write a review! I LOVE GLEE

I have been by Glee every step of the way since Season 1: episode 1. This is a BIG moment. I not only love this show but the show was so well written and everything that i feel like i know the characters personally. Im sad to see all of these people go. But luckly some of them are coming back for next season. This is the best show on television. This album is FANTASTIC. I cant wait to see if they win Nationals or not. Its gonna be SOOOOOO exciting!! I am and will ALWAYS BE.....A GLEEK. "Like" if you agree fellow GLEEKS!!!!

When Glee aired its first episode in May 2009, the TV show only attracted a fraction of the viewers who tuned in for American Idol, which was shown on the same channel just one hour prior. The numbers looked bleak, but Billboard's music charts told a different story the following week, when the Glee version of Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" became a Top Five hit. Performed during the pilot by the castmates themselves, the song eventually sold over 700,000 downloads and paved the way for Glee's...
