Almost....

I love the Woodentops. I regret that they only made two albums. They had so much more in them. If you like GIANT then you will love this as it is more of the same. Pure upbeat pop with a quirky, slightly manic, twist. 'Stop This Car' and 'They Can Say What They Want' are great tunes. But for me, it does't quite have the depth of GIANT. Just falls a bit short, but a great album none the less.

Formed in the early '80s in Northhampton, England, the group consisted of Rolo McGinty (vocals, guitar), Frank de Freitas (bass), Simon Mawby (guitar), Benny Staples (drums), and Alice Thompson (keyboards).
