Funny man, not funny album

Dat Phan is a hilarious comic. I've seen him on Last Comic Standing & Comedy Central presents & he had me rolling. The album however is very poor. He is a lot more raunchy in this album & it just doesn't work. If you listen, he even makes several comments about the audiences' reaction to his dirty jokes. In other words, he verbally asks why aren't people laughing. He verbally says he thinks the audience is not in to his raunchy, sexual, profanity-laced jokes. It is as if Dat Phan relied more on the shock value than the actual comedic value of the jokes he was telling. This is highly unlike my previous experiences listening to him. If your morals are against this type of humor, than stay away from this cd -it's not worth it. However, even if you are fine with dirty jokes & profanity, there stiill isn't much here. The jokes just are not that creative this time around.

Still as unfunny as when he was on Last Comic Standing

I wouldn't call this album or the comedian outright awful. I just wouldn't reccomend buying this album. Dat Phan only has an album because he got atotal gift winning last comic standing beatng out much funnier comics like Ralphie May & Rich Vos to name a few. The show was a joke anyway as the judges voting was "rigged" anyway. I'll get off that soap box and get back to the album. It's just Dat using his asian heritage to make "funny" asian voices and the whole album is centered around him being asian. The guy just doesn't have great material, he relies on the same stuff for years. I know righting comedy is tough, but I just can't say this is a good album. Not awful, but definately not worth buying.

Not great

Some good jokes but he wasn't really "on" he spent way too much time yelling at the crowd for being quiet.
