In the past few years since Rising Nemesis Records was formed, I've yet to stumble across a sing bad album from this amazing label, and You owe You Pay by Carnal is certainly no exception. This is the fourth album by CD, with their prior albums being through Severed records which is another fantastic BDM record label, and although I haven't heard them yet, I can safely say that they are one of my new favorite bands because You Owe, You Pay is a GD masterpiece!!! When I first heard this album I was shocked on the sheer volume of hardcore influence it had, and even though I love core infused Death Metal, I just wasn't sure whether or not they were pushing it too far. Now that I've had a chance to buy it and listen to it all the way through multiple times, I have to say that it couldn't sound more perfect if it tried!!! The grooves are so heavy and make you writhe with fury to the point where you just want to jump up out of your chair and demolish your house with your bare hands. The hardcore crossover angst-ridden vocals also add a sense of depth and urgency to the supremely decimating and slamtastic groove-laden breakdowns. The album is so catchy that it plays in my mind on repeat all dadgum day!!! Though this band hail from Sweden, the hardcore injection is more in the vein of classic American Death Metal and BDM, specifically the New York scene. With such bone crushing energy and frenetically fervent aggression similar to bands like Dehumanized and Internal Bleeding, one would immediately assume Carnal Decay to be from the New York area. I can't express enough the energy level that You Owe You pay contains. Suffice it to say that the amount of head banging you will do within the 36 minute run time of this masterpiece will surely warrant several visits to the chiropractor later in life due to severe neck complications, and all I can say about that is it's totally freaking worth it!!! This is without a doubt in my absolute favorite album of the year so far PERIOD!!! And one of my favorite albums E-V-E-R! FLAWLESS!!!

Top 5 track:
1) No Sequel
2) Decimating the Living
3) Freed from the Leash
4) Murder a la Carte
5) Until You Die
