Customer Reviews

Wow, these negative reviewers are on crack.

For anyone who loved No Certain Night or Morning... which includes me... this album is not just good, it's amazing. The more I listen to it, the more I discover about each track. Rating them in iTunes, I keep bumping tracks up from 4 stars to 5 stars, as I notice complexities, harmonies and lyrics I didn't catch during early listens. The Smoke... beautiful and mysterious. The Automatic Process... one of the most energetic and kinetic tracks I've heard this year - makes me want to drive 100 miles an hour with the top down. The keyboard work in An Accident is just beautiful... I can play it on repeat and listen to just that track over and over again. You Will Know What to Do... the emotion in that one should touch anyone who's ever been a kid (hopefully you yourself)... but particularly parents. There's not a single weak track on the album... not one you'd want to skip. These guys make beautiful music, and this album is my favorite yet.

Finally! Worth the wait.

It's been a long four years waiting for their next release. And for me, it was worth the wait. They still have the dark, down-tempo beats, and with most tracks having a Depeche Mode-esque pop styling to keep the casual listener interested. Pretty much every track has some attention grabbing substance.

This will be in my rotation for quite some time.

Sounds like...

The singer sounds like Thom Yorke from Radiohead. I haven't really listened to their first album but I'm a big fan of this one. It takes your mind to other places.

Gross soon joined Ruffino's band at the time on keyboards. Though each went away to college, they kept in touch and worked on music during breaks. After school they regrouped in New York, dubbed themselves...
