Wow, his style is all over the place. In "Lil' King Kong" he completely sounds like Beck, and in "The Twentysomething," he sounds like a throw back to the Beatles or the Byrds. However, that doesn't mean it's a bad thing, it just means that the record has a bit of an inconsistant feel. I personally am not crazy about it, but it's definately not bad.

Good work Ciaran

I first bought 1 about a month or two after it was released and immediately became a fan. When Ciaran McFeely quit writing songs for awhile it really took me aback I thought he would be all about the music and thought maybe I got the wrong impression of him and his persona Simple Kid, but 2 definitely proves me wrong and I am glad. I am very happy with this album it is a must have in my opinion.

Finally something Diffrent

Not really sure about the beck comparisions.Cool, Very diffrent sound. Mellow but yet has a slight edge to it.
