Essential - Not!

There are already about five "best of" albums for Sammy Hagar, some that represent his Capitol Records years, one that covers the Geffen days, and an anthology that goes all the way back to the Montrose/Warner Brothers days.

A couple of the aforementioned are a better choice for "best of" material than this Essentials collection, which just doesn't do his career justice (since 1973). In fact, the main reason for wanting this album would be previously unreleased material, and iTunes isn't even making that available!

Hopefully, when Apple has a respectable Hagar collection, they will call on someone like myself for a Sammy Hagar iTunes Essentials collection in the music store.

this is what sammy should be doing, not that van hagar s##t. songs like "i can't drive 55" will pump you up so much especially when you're driving, you could almost get into a accident!!. another song that gets the adrenniline flowing is "there's only one way to rock". that is my alltime favorite song! every thing about it, the arrangments, the vocals, the guitar line, it's nothing short of perfect.this is the red rocker at his best!!
