Yeah The Hip Funk is back

What up. I just happened to be browsing through the Itunes Store when I noticed this album. My first thought was DANG! They still making records. I had to peep to see what was up with it. I was hoping they didn't change their formula. You know, that Pure Hip Hop with the Classic Funk style. I was very happy to find out that the formula is still the same. I'm so glad they didn't "sale out" and make a typical "I got this I got that" format that's infesting Rap these pass few years. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is becuase (There is no 4.5 and) most of us can't be prepared for the futuristic HipHopFunk that they deliever. For example peep "The Rime in the Mochanut" is absolutely abstract from an acid trip of imagination. It will take a few rotations to fully adapt to the ClassicRawFunkadelicHipHopAcidJazz that is "Digital Underground." But I wouldn't have it any other way.

Shock Gesus....A True Genius!

Had this album in '04...Got it again today for the bonus cutz. Favs are Weesom Hustlas, Walkin' and The Jiggy emix of your Sun iza pimp.. Dont sleep on this one! Rolling Stone calls it a solo masterpiece by a hip hop legend! yay!

Classic Hip-hop

When this joint came out back circa '04 Rolling Stone magazine gave it a classic rating ever since then I've been struggling to find it. Now after hearing it I see why it got so much praise every track is good with some being standouts including: Keep it Beautiful, Cherry Flava'd Email, Sunshine Rime and Your Sun iza Pimp. Shock for the most part let go the whole Humpty alter ego along with a lot of the D.U. cast except maybe one song and embraced funk in a whole new way so everything is all him. He is vastly underrated as a producer, performer and rime sayer his style is more funk a prodigy and that has been closer most hip-hop artist have ever came. I highly anyone looking for good positive music to pick this one up.
