your town tonight

Eliza Gilkyson's voice is enticing. She really knows how to carry a tune. A truelly amazing album!

Your Town Tonight

This is a great live folk album. Eliza has a fabulous, interesting voice, and her song selection really works for her. If you like Emmy Lou Harris, Shawn Colvin or Lucinda Williams, you have to have some Eliza in your library, and this is the best place to start. I'm still trying to see Eliza live, as I've heard that she is wonderful. The intros to these songs are fun. But the wonder of this album is Eliza's amazing voice, so full of the world, of kindness and intelligence, such a human voice.
