7" Record of the Year

The Wonder Years proved themselves on their debut full length, Get Stoked On It! The album was funny, catchy and a breathe of fresh air in the pop-punk scene today. This album takes away most of the funny and get's personal with the lyrics into Soupy's thoughts and takes on everyday life. Though there's only 3 actual songs and an intro, it really hits home, from Solo & Chewy, tales from the van and on the road, to Won't Be Pathetic Forever, questioning where he's headed in life, and trying to stay positive through thick and thin. It's just a very well written piece of work. Recomended for fans of Pop-Punk, sick lyrics, and synth, which plays a major role as usual.
