Excellent, but missing some tracks

Blizzard has always done an incredible job with their music, and StarCraft was no exception. Although I had already ripped the gameplay tracks from the game, the real gems on this are the music from the cinematics. The Death of the Overmind is one of the most powerful music cues I've heard in a video game, and I can finally listen to it without the explosions and Mutalisk screeches! That said, there are some problems. First, the soundtrack is missing several tracks. Many people have noticed RadioFreeZerg, but that's free off of Blizzard's website so it's not a biggie. However, while it is complete with the Broodwar cinematic music, it is missing the Broodwar gameplay music. The terran broodwar theme is my favorite gameplay track – and I was disappointed to see that it was missing from this compilation. Also missing is the music from all but one of the original game cinematics. The Warp from the zerg campaign had a great little music cue, and it seems like the background music from Mengsk's speech should be present. The second problem is the track order: it makes absolutely no sense. And although the crossfades present between most tracks are nice, they make it difficult to put the tracks in a more logical order. Regardless, it is a lot of incredible music. Although I do already have the gameplay music, the cinematic music was totally worth the $9.99. Kudos Blizzard!

Great but too late and not enough for me

I had played StarCraft since it came out. Now I just enjoy watching Pro player do it for me. But listening to the soundtrack is another matter entirely. My body hair goes up when I heat the Protoss Ready Room piece. However, as I huge fan I had gotten my hands on those pieces long time ago. But, if you haven't, download it now. This is as classic as any soundtrack can get. I was also hopping for some digital booklet containing the most iconic Starcraft images. And the Album art in not the best choice by far. Come on Blizzard, its been 10 years

Starcraft. Nothing more, Nothing less.

Great. Its what it says. Solid soundtrack. Wish it had Radio Free Zerg and 12 days of Xmas.
