Captures the zeitgeist

This is a tiny spoiler, so look away now if you don't care to know... but the transitional scene, with the construction of the Transamerica Pyramid against the day and night skyline set to Marvin Gaye's Inner City Blues, gave me goosebumps. It validated change, the uncertainty and fear that permeated the city and nation with Zodiac and Vietnam, much like the feel of today with Iraq and terrorism. These songs are very effective, and David Fincher's film is just excellent.

Great Music, Great Movie

I was in the 6th and 7th grade living in San Mateo when the Zodiac Killer was on his horrific rampage. I remember my Mother taking us to school by car and watching the Police escorts at the school when the buses unloaded. Very scarey times for us.... but I also remember the music and how I just started to listen to the radio. KFRC, K101, KDIA. Sitting in the theater the songs grabbed me and took me back to that time. I guess that is what music does, stamps time and marks it for us. Great, great music...

Can't we just buy 1 song?

Why does ITunes make you buy an entire album instead of downloading 1 song. This is why people illegaly download.
