6 Apps in This BundleSee All
6 popular maths games, designed by a teacher to help teach a variety of number skills, suitable for children from age 6 to 14.
CRYSTAL CRASH MATHS
Crystal Crash Maths is designed to help teach hundreds of objectives, from Year 1 to Year 6, aligned to the new UK mathematics curriculum. It includes the following games, each with carefully differentiated levels:
Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Reading Numbers, Fractions of Numbers, Convert Fractions to Decimals, Convert Fractions to Percentages, Simplify Fractions, Multiples, Factors, Prime, Square and Cube Numbers, Rounding Numbers, Roman Numerals, Telling the Time in Words
BUBBLE POP NUMBER BONDS
A great way to practise number bonds and mental addition. Levels include: number bonds to 10, 20, 50 and 100 as well as addition pairs up to 20, 50 or 100. Look at the target at the top of the screen and then aim your bubble to make that target.
As a teacher I know how important it is that children know their number bonds (pairs of numbers that add up to 10, 20 or 100), and can add quickly mentally. Repetition is essential in learning number bonds. This game is designed to make the process fun.
Children have to aim their bubble to make a given sum. As they progress the missions get harder; they have less time, or less bubbles to shoot. Each correct answer is accompanied by an image to reinforce the number bond they have found.
BUBBLE POP MULTIPLICATION
A fun way to learn your multiplication tables. Choose which tables to practise and then try and pop all the bubbles before your time is up. This version has 70 missions to complete.
NUMBER FACTS - BEAT THE CLOCK
Score as many points as you can before the time runs out. A number of levels including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and matching fractions and decimals. Track progress over time with a scoreboard. Activities can be selected by National Curriculum level.
PLACING NUMBERS ON A NUMBER LINE
Drag the flag to the correct position on a number line. Lots of choice over level, including whole numbers, negative number and decimals. Can be used to teach place value, approximation skills, and reading varying scales.
Choose one type of number line or for more of a challenge you can select several. Work quickly to get more time, build your score and climb up the leaderboard.
Find the missing number to balance the calculations. An excellent tool for reinforcing an understanding of the role of the equals sign. Choose one objective, or many. You can choose all the objectives for a single year group (or multiple year groups). You can also choose to balance between different types of calculations (eg subtraction and division)
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
