This bundle offers five diverse meditation and relaxation practices of varying lengths. The apps also offer a five-minute restoration exercise, a calming and rejuvenating exercise that is perfect when relaxation is needed but time is short. There is also a progressive muscle relaxation exercise, one in which the listener slowly tenses and releases the muscles of the body, a practice that brings deep relaxation to both body mind. Finally, this bundle offers a guided imagery exercise that takes listeners on a deeply relaxing journey to the beach.

Each practice allows the listener to take a break from the outside world, turn the focus within, and experience deep body-mind relaxation and rejuvenation. The exercises are perfect for both beginners (who might appreciate the instructions offered throughout the exercises) and individuals with meditation and relaxation experience who would like to add to their current practices.

In these apps, the volumes of both the voice and background music are controlled completely by you, the user: choose your perfect blend of voice and background music, choose no music at all, or choose to simply meditate to the calming sounds of musician Matt Magarahan's soothing background music.

The apps also include a feature that allows you to play your own music in the background: choose your favorite music to enhance your meditation or relaxation experience.

Additionally, you can choose to continue the background music for ten minutes after the completion of each exercise, allowing you to prolong each meditation or relaxation session if desired.

Dr. Tanie Kabala is a clinical psychologist who received psychology training at Georgetown University, George Washington University, George Mason University, and the University of Delaware. She earned her Ph.D. with honors in 2003 and currently works in private practice, where she specializes in treating individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, eating disorders, and concerns related to weight loss surgery. Dr. Kabala has a passion for using meditation and relaxation exercises to help her patients experience increased emotional and physical wellness; and she enjoys offering meditation and relaxation classes to her community.

Dr. Kabala is the author of The Weight Loss Surgery Coping Companion, and has a blog that covers a variety of mental-health related topics.

Rest and restore bundle

I'm sandwiched with the needs of my 90+ year old mom and my kids and grandchildren who live a half-day drive away. I was never interested in meditation or just didn't want to take the time for it. As my stress level climbed I needed something and decided to try this. I am hooked!!! The voice, the pace, the music, everything is really wonderful! The walking med is my favorite but all are so calming. I can't believe it. Five stars for sure!!!

All you need for a great meditation and relaxation practice!

This little bundle has everything you need if you want to begin a relaxation or meditation practice! It has great variety so I can choose the type of exercise and length of exercise that I'm in the mood for (even if I have only five minutes to spare)- and every single one is excellent. The voice is instantly relaxing and there is the perfect amount of guidance. These apps have definitely helped me be more calm, mindful, and present with my loved ones. I recommend this bundle highly!
