1-Hour Photo brings a surprising new experience to mobile photography - it makes all your shots more magical by making you wait an hour before you get to see the results (using our beautiful, proprietary black and white film emulation).

Stop getting distracted in the moment by reviewing your photos as they're being taken - your special moments remain all about the moments themselves when you can't see the photos until later.

By the time you see your photos, the moments they've captured have already become memories, which changes how you feel about them forever.

Nobody can veto a photo right after it's taken, since everyone has to wait an hour to see the results.

Each photo becomes a little present to your future self. It's surprisingly exciting when the notification arrives telling you your photos are ready and you get to see what exactly you captured an hour or more ago.

We dare you to try it out!

Still a favorite

I have kept this app in my camera folder for years. It's on the first folder view. I don't use it a lot, but every time I do I enjoy it. I wish it had some newer features (1-Hour Live View photos that can be sent as gifs) and take away the manual setting (or at least put it on the other side of the button—it looks weird with the flash setting).

I hope this app is still being worked on and updated because I love it.

It's a delight to use and experience.

Please update

One of the best camera apps in the store, but no updates recently. Love the black and white look on my photos. I understand there are filters to use in other apps but none quite like this.

The update is no good

This app was perfect without the manual exposure and auto setting. It took beautiful, high contrast pictures. Not now. Wish it gave you the option to revert back to the other version or update to have the choice to allow the app to manual/auto exposure setting or the original setup. Please revert back to the version without the manual/auto exposure setting.

Developer Response

Hi EbdoubleD, sorry to hear about this! You should still have the option to set it to auto, which would be default from before--is this not working for you? If this continues to be an issue for you, we'd love to hear from you at to see if we can figure out what's going on.
