Better control of my AppleTV

I use this to control my AppleTV, having long ago lost the original AppleTV remote. My iPhone can’t always wake the AppleTV up, which then in the past I’d have to go unplug/plug it back in it to make it wake up again. With 1Keyboard, I have an alternate source to wake it up from my lap and generally 1Keyboard is better at this than the iPhone has been.

Also handy for when I’m half browsing/half watching TV and I can just pause whatever I’m watching straight from the computer in case I get engrossed in the computer.

Finally, f I’m going to search for a title (in Netflix/Hulu, etc), I instinctively reach for the 1Keyboard/Mac combo to control the TV so I can just type naturally.

Oh, one more tiny thing- I find it a bit easier to rewind from 1Keyboard using the left arrow key than on my iPhone swipe gestures.

One note- for a week or so I couldn’t make it connect to the AppleTV at all and I just eventually re-established the Bluetooth link between them and it fixed it.

1Keyboard makes having an iPhone easy.

I am disabled and use a computer via hitting keys with a stick held in my mouth. This made the prospect of getting an iPhone a mixed blessing. Lots of accessibility, but typing on a touch screen is challenge. I did some research and when I read about 1keyboard I bought it right away.

Yes, I am happy I can handoff text messaging using Apple’s Messages. But for all those times I need to enter text directly into the iPhone, such as a passwordd, search phrase, or name, I am so very thankful that 1keyboard lets me type from my computer keyboard as I have for decades!

Target Display Mode Application on a Mac

I love 1Keyboard. I have two iMacs and I wanted an easy way to use TDM (Target Display Mode) on one without needing a second keyboard cluttering up my desk for the TDM monitor. 1Keyboard works perfectly. Allows me to use one keyboard without any bluetooth issues. It solved my problem.

My only wish would have been to have directions for how to do this. Took me many hours to a) figure out that 1Keyboard existed and that it might work for this application and b) how to actually do it. Some directions would have been very helpful.
