Couldn’t function without it!

I don’t usually write reviews (cliché start) but since I’m on vacation and just updated to the latest version I was thinking how much I really do like this software. My ID was stolen and I had to figure something out for all my passwords so I started trying out password keepers and although others worked fine (so I won’t name them or talk about them) 1password was by far the most intuitive for me. The ease of use switching between devices has been a breath of fresh air as I’ve had no problems and that’s something that has aggrevated me to no end which includes apple software itself. Updates are regular but not so often you question developers competance. And now after using 1password with different browsers the add ons were simple to install allowing me my choice of browsers (one of the top 4, I haven’t tried others or know if the software is even compatible with others?). This latest version was just now installed so I can’t speak for it but I’ve had no glitches to date ; )
Thanks AgileBits

So much better than Apple’s Keychain

1Password is so much better and easier to use than Apple’s Keychain. It’s much easier to find notes and passwords, or store other little bits of information. I even use it for storing stuff that isn’t necessarily sensitive information, just so everything is in one place. Syncing is reliable, unlike Apple’s Keychain; Keychain has often gotten completely confused and reverted to older state from other devices. I like how everything is easily accessible from all of my Macs, and my iPhone and iPad.

1Password makes it trivially easy to fill in passwords on web sites. The 1Password Mini menu (on Mac) makes it easy to find and grab passwords for other apps. On iPhone and iPad, the share menu integration is great. On iPad, Split View makes it easy to quickly open 1Password to copy a password, without completely leaving the other app.

Best software I ever purchased

I have always been good about using different and adequate passwords. However my previous solution was just copying and pasting from a text document. Using a hotkey to autofill is much easier, and the app is storing them in a much more secure manner than my old text document. Not to mention the sync between devices, custom fields, a place to enter notes, categories, tags, password history. The Watchtower alerts about vulnerable sites are crucial with the daily discovery of another hacked company. When the Heartbleed vulnerabilty was rampant, I had one place to see all the sites where I needed to change my password. The company seems to be run by great people who give great support, and are frequently releasing updates to add enhancements and resolve issues. The price is more than worth what you could lose if you get hacked due to easy/re-used passwords.
