2D Fourier calculates the two-dimensional Fourier transform of an image. Color images are first transferred to black/white. The Fourier image shows the amplitude of the complex kvectors along kx and ky axes. In “complex” setting the App shows the real and imaginary parts of k in red and blue, respectively.
Selected regions of the Fourier image can brushed out, or selected spatial frequencies can be added, and the effect on the corresponding spatial image is presented.

What's New in Version 1.4
- Improved resolution (4x) by using Apple's Accelerate framework.
- Export to camera roll.
It's a simple UI so don't be disappointed, it only does a couple things, but really helps show what affect frequencies have on an image.
Request 1: when you change to "add" mode in the options it still subtracts/erases on the frequency side? This might be a bug???
Request 2: I wish painting and erasing were a little easier to switch between, and brush sizes.
Visualizing the hard to visualize
Requests: easy way to play with phase offsets, some drawing tools so I can see what representative shapes like rectangles, waves, ovals, etc look like. Thank you!
