Awesome game to kill 5 minutes
The graphics are great, the objective was cool, the scenery was well-designed, but this is not a full game. The reason why they created this was so you get excited about the movie.. How unfortunate.. The gameplay is awesome, and could be used to make an incredible rpg. I'd pay top dollar for a good mobile game. Warner bros, if you want to make a lot of money in the mobile industry, take this game, and update it to where it has weeps/armor choices, quests/side-quests, and all the good stuff a traditional console rpg has..
To those just seeing if the app is worth playing, yes. It's one of the most fun mobile games out there, but there is nothing to do after you've played all 5 minutes of its gameplay. Kind of disappointing..
Great Promotional Game
This is a nice exemple of a good promotional game (won't use "advergame" here, cause it comes with some bad perception). This is a fun, simple, casual, if only too short game made to promove the movie. And the best part is, the game know what it is, and dont try to fool you otherwise.
Gamplay is fun and simple, although a little too clunky. And while it is very short, I can totally see this as an "endless brawler", where you keep fighting until you die. (A nice way to die for an spartan too).
Fix the clunkyness of the combat and make it an endeless game and I just might keep playing long after the buzz of the movie drop dead...
This could have been so much better.
This game had so much potential. It could have been something amazing. But no, the game only lasted about 5 minutes.
This game seriously did look promising. Graphics are pretty good, fighting mechanics were pretty good. It doesn't have any pay to win garbage, but it was extremely short. Heh, it could have been the next big "beat 'em up" game with Ancient Greek combat, maybe the first one I've seen.
