Travel in seconds

So I got this app thinking I would just be able to take panoramics, then found I could see other's pictures too. I was amazed at first to see such beautiful place and feel like I was really there feeling that moment in time. Then I became flabbergasted because I realized it is as though I am traveling around the world in mere minutes but engrave the pictures in my mind forever.
Most pictures have great quality in their pixels while some others don't and therefore don't show as much detail; but the beauty is still seen. I would highly recommend this app as the top app of 2013!

All the world in a armchair

Rob D 555

It is great to see an actual 360 photo of a place you would like to visit to put it in the mind s eye and to see a place one has been before. But due to the inherent political , time, or money restrictions one may not be able to go there, but you can see a glimpse of what you are missing. Also for all the places that are not on the site it gives the user a chance to post the first 360 photo for everyone to enjoy, I could see how a person could go to that place to be the first for that location. Who thought owning an IPad could be that much fun. Keep up the good work. Thanks Rob D.

A window on the world

works well but not universal

Not just a great app; a magic window on the world. It feels like what Steve Job's must have been dreaming of when he conceived of the iPad. I used it with a group of college students, first having everyone stand, then looking at a 360 image of Guell park above Barcelona. Once everyone discovered that they could look up, down, and sideways simply by moving their iPads, they got excited about "traveling" to their favorite places, and shared images with each other. I love 360cities, both in class, and for armchair travel at home.
