3D-ish
It’s decent. It’s a chess game and does chess. The images and the 3D tag made me think that I’d be able to spin the board to see all angles, as well as possibly zoom in and out. You can’t. It’s more 3D-ish, like an isometric title from years past. I was hoping for about 20% better for my $9.99. It’s definitely atmospheric, some of the boards are very nice, and it just updated, so I am interested to see what the new boards have to offer in the atmosphere department. Honestly, I miss my Battlechess that I played on the Amiga back in the day.
Could be better
This is a very good looking chess program, that would be enough for my needs, except that as soon as the app is launched the fans of the computer start spinning, whithout even playing! So what is it that is doing in the background?? Fix that and I’ll give it 5 stars.
Shouldn't Be In App Store
Played hardest level and was extremely easy to beat. While using my computer got screaming hot, fans started working hard.
