I love it

DjPeeps

I love 5 everyday! It's rare for me to leave a review(even when I really hate an app) but I decided that 5 everyday was more than worthy of. I have been a 5 everyday member for over a year now(I believe going on 2 years). I open the app daily to check out what cool, refreshing, unique events are happening around town. I even get a bit upset if I miss a day. I am a born and raised native of east la and I am thankful that 5 everyday has and continues to give me awesome info on numerous hidden gems in my on backyard. I love the non-algorithm aspect and I can say that I don't feel like the events posted course you to promoted events(I don't feel like conglomerates pay them to post/promote), instead try to educate its users and share awesome events. I would go as far as saying I wish I was an employee 5 everyday in some form as I feel I share a common interest in what the app offers its users(I also want to offer new avenues of exploration that in turn spread joy). I want to let the creators and awesome people that upload content know that I truly appreciate what they offer and I Thank you 5 everyday

Frustrating lack of critical info: the actual date the event is taking place

Simon Blaise

The two times I used this app I drove to the location at the stated time the event was taking place only to find it had already happened the day before. The app only gives you the address and time, but not the date. This problem may be due to a refresh issue, however, if they burned a couple calories and typed in the actual date(s) the event was taking place on the main screen, this app would be what some might refer to as "useful" and "not an irritant". The lack of a date really boggles my mind into a state of deep perplexity - the name of the app has "day" in it, why not state the exact "day(s)"?

Simple. Useful. Fun.

I visit LA about once a month. I'm always looking for that thing to do, something different, somewhere I haven't been. Whoever manages the app has similar interests to my own, so really, any of the recommendations are worth considering. Thanks!

One possible idea. If you had a team managing the app you could hunt down more happenings and offer these randomly. Roll a dice or pull a lever and 5 new events populate the list.
