Good Concept

THomburger

Let me preface this by saying I liked the book and would give it 4-stars. I liked the idea of this app but some of the conversation starters were too specific and religion biased. I'm not religious anymore although I grew up Christian and went to a Catholic college. I have a lot of respect for all religions but I'm still baffled as to how the author can teach love languages to kids, adults and singles but doesn't realize teaching love languages with a specific religious bias is not speaking to me, the reader in my spiritual language. Luckily, I can look past all that and find the important messages but it doesn't mean it's not annoying to hear about church, God and scripture when I'm sure this book, that the author says is for the public (not just Christians), can be written sending just the same message without talk of Christian practices.

Needs tweaking

Icecreamandcake

This is a great concept but it needs some help for it to have potential. I cannot go back to view previous challenges or conversation starters. For example, this weeks challenge is to give my spouse a massage while playing our favorite songs from the beginning of our relationship. However, when I logged in today to read the description again, I can only read the conversation starter. Thus, it is easy to forget the challenge. We should be able to review past challenges so that we can continue to use them even after the time period is up. That's the point right? To find ways to show your spouse you love them. I cannot remember every single suggestion and would like access to them 24/7.

Also, notifications aren't being sent to me, not even by email. I've signed up for both and checked all my settings, but still none, and we are in the 4th week.

Too Many Bugs

Grovedawg

The idea of this app is fantastic. Get weekly reminders to speak your partners love language. The only problem is that the app has too many bugs. For instance: when you're initially creating a profile if you try to select a team it will freeze and you have to exit the app, force quit and start all over. You are completely unable to join a team, so I skipped that step and started a new challenge. After the first week I completed the challenge but am unable to view next weeks challenge. I get push reminders that "next weeks challenge is waiting," but the app won't let me see next weeks challenge or make any progress.

Someone please read this and fix these issues, otherwise I can't recommend what should be an awesome app to help you learn and speak your partners love language.
