Reliable Service

Been using for 3 months to monitor my 94 year old mother who is home alone 10 hours a day. Set up was easy. The user support help line has been excellent. I use the Link app to monitor mom’s activity during the day. If she forgets to charge her device I can see it. If she leaves the house I can see that too.
Have not had an emergency situation yet, but the Link app also send alerts to all family members is Mom pushes the alert button.
I’m well pleased with the service and the peace of mind it brings.
Since I have not actually had an emergency, I can give it only 4 stars.

Sad but True

I had the exact same experience as the reviewer above. Service turned off when I had to discontinue a compromised credit card and replace it. Most places were able to deal with this change. But 5Star de-activated it and didn't notify me. I was without service for over 2 months (without knowing it). Once I found out, I called customer service and (2 more months) they have not been able to activate my account. Nor can I start a new account as they still have my old account on record.

Too many glitches and problems

My GreatCall Splash keeps saying not turned on and not in service when it is. GreatCall sent a new unit and it said the same thing. They ran a check and said everything is connected and working fine yet I can no longer access it on my iPhone app. They gave me some instructions to try and they didn't work. I'm going to cancel and go with LifeAlert. They are cheaper and have better customer service. Shame on you John Walsh for sponsoring this piece of junk.
