Close to useless

Major update couple weeks ago completely changed the app. Almost all the features that were there before are gone now. No longer can you sort through trending news articles, read or unread articles. No refresh button. No way to send article to someone. Disquis has problems with commenting while using the app. (Could be or could not be app problem). Article list page still not sized proportionally on iPhone 6s, have to move screen around to read article excerpt, and hope you don’t swipe too far for source page to appear. Articles can take awhile to load. New update a week ago; Did they do anything? Seems almost the same. But I do thank 63 Red because it has made me look at other news apps, including Liberty Nation and Conservative News. (CN has most of 63 Red news feeds too). This app has gone way downhill, and I don’t know why because it was a great news app not too long ago. I’d stay away from app till they actually put time into fixing it. (Hopefully somewhat back to what is was.)

Exactly what I was looking for!

I have been weaning myself off of social media in light of censorship from all the big left-leaning platforms like YouTune and the all-time biggest BIG BROTHER Facebook. I need my conservative news that comes from a variety of unbiased sources and this app does it for me, absolutely BEAUTIFULLY! It even has the preferences to be able to turn off ones I don’t want to see. There is no other source needed. I will say, it didn’t come up in my App Store under conservative news. The developers need to somehow figure out how to get that keyword tagged so the app comes up in regular searches. The only reason I heard about it, was a bad review on another app where someone said to try 63red. I love it and thank you, thank you, thank you! <3 keep up the great work and stay true!

Issues since update

mskroko

There are some positives since the update - improved graphics, better access to an actual article - but there are two big negatives: 1. The inability to mark an article as read and to filter by unread; 2. Cannot scroll back further than two hours without the the list duplicating, becoming a loop of the last several articles. This means I cannot review overnight articles when I open the app in the morning.
Eliminating necessary functionality in order to add some ‘nice to have’ - not not imperative - features is a case of ‘one step forward, two steps back.’ Please repair scrolling to older articles and restore the read/unread marking feature.
