7 Minute workout
I’m disabled and not active like I used to be. This app helps in several ways. It conveniently reminds on my phone that I could use some time to move. It does so Without the bother and guilt I have when a person would remind me.
I can choose which set of exercises that suit my need and mood and that won’t aggravate my body. The exercise routines can be edited as I exercise to jump over those I can’t perform while giving me an intensity of physicality lacking in my condition by other activities. If you don’t know the proper form or how to do an exercise this app provides examples that you can see and read.
Good, short workouts
I love to do these while my son is napping or sleeping. They are quick enough and high impact enough for me, using my own body weight, to just get in a nice fast workout and you can do them a couple of times a day to meet the 20-30 minute workout time. The rest times between exercises are just long enough to give a quick breather before moving into the next exercise and the pictures really help when you’re just getting started if you don’t know how to do a particular exercise.
Generally does what it says
The seven minute workout is still pretty simple concept and this app mostly does okay. The voice cues are great and I really like the 'halfway there!' as good encouragement without being condescending.
However, I've noticed two minor but annoying issues. One, the image for lunges shows forward lunges but the linked video shows side. Two, and most irritating, the app seems to reset itself to ten seconds between sets - even after telling it something else and even after verifying it says something else.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
