Love the concept, execution needs update

The good: This is a highly motivating, highly effective, incredibly versatile workout app that can suit beginners and adept fitness enthusiasts alike. I love the variety of the workouts and the notifications that encourage me to take an additional impromptu 7 minutes out of my day to work in an extra workout. It's fantastic that this app works with music playing in the background - there are so many wonderful features here. When everything functions correctly, this app is well worth the annual cost.
The bad: This app is terribly in need of an update. I typically have to load and exit out of the app 2 or 3 times before it will "unfreeze" and operate the way it should. For a paid app, this is unacceptable. Please fix this. It's frustrating. For many, this would probably be the deterrent that would convince them to sit on the couch rather than work in additional sweat session.

I love this app!

I started using 7 in mid-November as a way to step up my fitness and have done it once a day pretty regularly since. It has really improved my base fitness level: I feel stronger, my arms are more toned, and I can play soccer with my kids for a lot longer. My goal is to make it to at least 100 days total of 7. I haven't been able to make myself do more than one circuit per day, so it isn't helping me as much as it would if I did it more. That being said, I feel like it has helped me move into harder exercises--I started back squatting, and it has been pretty easy to get going with it because of all that squats I've done on 7. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I don't like it that I can only miss two days per month or it makes me start over.

I tried out the full body workout for free and when I found that useful I decided to pay the monthly subscription or you can also pay a yearly flat price to unlock all the exercises. Wow! There's a lot of them. I love that I can customize it the way I like and I can create my own workouts and label them.

I really like this application. I tried several others that were seven minute apps but this one is the best.

Personally I find this app works best on the iPhone or iPad. If you purchase it for the iPhone you can also use it on the iPad. Just go to the App Store on your iPad and purchase it again but it will tell you that the purchase is free since you already paid for it.
