Longtime Fan, Losing the Love

I've used 8Tracks for quite a while and love the service so very much, but with the recent update my battery life has taken a major hit to the point where I thought there was something wrong with my phone. It drops like crazy when I use 8Tracks, which is all the time, and stays well-charged when I don't. I'm also disappointed by the new ads and by the fact that now when I exit the app, the song pauses for a second before continuing. It's minor but majorly annoying and was not a problem in previous releases. Like I said, I love 8Tracks, and I would gladly give it 5 stars, but until these issues are resolved, it only gets three stars. Especially for the bad battery consumption. If that is not resolved I may very well have to discontinue my use of the app.

I love love love 8tracks

It's probably the app I use the most, actually. The design is pretty, it's fairly straightforward and easy to understand, and even the rare emails it sends make me smile. There is honestly a playlist for anything you could possibly think of. And the artwork on them is usually really nice too. The one thing I would possibly want to be added is a way to better organize the playlists you've liked. But really, that's a minor thing. All in all, it's just great, and a wonderful way to find new music.

Great app for all kinds of music!

I've seen a couple reviews about how great 8tracks is for new music. But it's also great for old music! I'm currently doing a project where I spend a week only listening to music from a specific decade, then the next week move to the next decade, etc. This week I'm on the 1920's, and when I discovered 8tracks it was a godsend! I found a playlist with almost 100 recordings of music from the 20's! And no commercials or payments! Fantastic app! I highly recommend!
