This Christmas, you're going to gorge on your favorite foods, indulge in wine and hot chocolate, and you're not going to gain a pound. In fact, you're going to burn fat and emerge from the holidays looking fitter than ever. And you can thank bestselling author Tim Ferriss, whose Christmas Countdown Experiment offers a simple diet plan designed to minimize weight gain while maximizing yule tide pleasure.
The Christmas Countdown Experiment provides a daily plan for the week leading up to Christmas. Access a schedule that tells you not just what to eat, but when to eat. An uber-short and optional workout plan, complete with photographs and video, walks you through what you can do in minimal time for bonus points. Simple, unusual recipes will keep you on body on track while never compromising on deliciousness. Plus: How to decant your wine in 20 seconds instead of 60+ minutes, how to create a holiday treat that will blow your friends' minds, and a Christmas bonus that offers a meaty promise.
I don't get this...
creative and useful
Very creative application of Tim Ferris' outside of the box thinking and inspiration for what is possible. Light on content, tho what is provided is useful. I hope this is a preview of what's in store for more apps from The Four Hour Guy!
A great app, and a glimpse into the future of publication.
Probably the corniest review line ever, but that doesn't make it less true. This app is an example of what I believe publications will look like moving forward. Great information in an interactive format, combining information, video, pictures and links to external data, taking full advantage of the tablet format. The other advantage I see this having is that you can easily convert it into a straight printed format, or scale it down for non-connected readers such as the older Kindles. So think, app plus book plus web all put together for one seamless product. Hopefully this is what the 4-Hour Chef will look like, since who better to break new ground than Mr. Ferriss.
As far as the app itself goes; fun, informative, tons of useful info packed into a jovial little holiday app. You can tell someone put a bit of love into it based on the picture quality, the way the pages transition, and the overall quality of the user experiance. Worth the read just to learn how to chop wine. Great work as ever!!! Here's to 2012!!!
