Here’s what the critics are saying:
"'Milo' raises the bar for interactivity within the book apps category, and its delightful surprise ending will have kids wanting to read it again and again" – USAToday.com
“I love it. Mostly I love the small details in the touch aspect that shows more innovation in the space - and better execution. The rocket, the musical notes and metronome...it is an eBook, with almost game like function - which is a great balance.” – Daniel Donahoo, Wired – GeekDad blogger
"A Present for Milo is infused with sheer joy. This infectious quality is the best thing about the new story app." Wired – GeekMom
"This app is a fun visual treat that encourages kids to touch everything they see on the screen." 5/5 Rating – Common Sense Media
“Amazing…the perfect book app to stimulate, engage and develop reading skills…. a high level of interactivity….fabulous animation. Ruckus Media is once more producing a top quality book app, an app in line with their goal to 're-invent family entertainment'." – FUN EDUCATIONAL APPS

What's New in Version 1.1
Great story, tons of interactions!
The style is super cute, my son loves all the noises. I read it with him on a car trip and my niece (who is 11, mind you) took the iPad from us afterward and read it again herself.
I didn't have any trouble with response time or page turning. Maybe this is a bit slower for iPad1s? Works perfectly on an iPad 2.
Write another Milo book Mr. Austin!
Cute interactive book, hampered by bad page turning
Such a cute game/concept, but it's virtually unplayable by my 22 month old. Anytime she touches the screen to interact with the book it moves the page forward or back and starts the reading part again. She quickly loses interest. It even does this when I try to carefully touch specific items. I have an iPad mini so it's not about compatibility with an older device.
PLEASE update the App so it stops on each page and add an arrow for kids/parents to push when they're ready for the next page.
My 20 month old's favorite App!
My son loves this app and always asks for "ipad kitty" in the morning. Very interactive with lots of fun things to click on. Only request is to please make turning the pages a more deliberate action. I would say my son turns the pages twice as often as clicking on items since it is so sensitive. Otherwise would be 5 stars.
