What's New in Version 3.1.4
- Platform enhancements to serve you better.
The app doesn't rotate to assume the direction you are holding the iPad. I have to hold mine upside-down to read it. Meaning you have to reorient the iPad each time you want to use the app. I can't think of any other app that neglects this functionality.
Note to ASRP: The iPad has one button on it and it can be set to read your finger and thumb prints. To use your app I have to turn my iPad upside down. This puts the thumb reader under my left thumb. Do you think your app is so special that I should go into settings and program it to read additional fingers or thumb?
It's an unfriendly design that influences me not to use the app. Maybe you should study how many users feel the same. 30%? 50%? I see people making similar complaints about your online magazine.
Helpful, but has fundamental flaws
For an organization as large as AARP, it seems strange they can’t get the basic complaints for this app corrected. As noted, the screen display on an iPad is locked, so if you have a keyboard, you have to rotate upside down to see. I like the larger display of an iPad when looking for options, this really needs to be corrected. Written as of iOS release 11.
AARP Digital Card
Denny's would not accept my digital card because it could not display the barcode. They said they had to scan the barcode and could not enter it manually. So this makes the app totally useless. Maybe you could add the back view of card and also be able to add it to the Apple wallet would be a very nice feature. Fix the iPad rotation problem. That is also really bad.
