Principles of learning:
1) Kids learn by observing
2) Kids learn better with appropriate feedback
3) Kids learn the best if it is fun
1) Animates and shows how to write alphabets with strokes in the right order on the traditional red-blue guiding lines.
2) Provides fun feedback of right and wrong strokes
3) Has lots of fun activities
- Touching the image below the alphabet makes it come to life
- Drawing screen with fun music
- Pop the randomly arranged ballons in alphabetical order (re-inforce learning while having fun)
- Animated ABC Song
But wait. Don't just stop at tracing the alphabets.
You can now trace words too! (new feature just added)

A great teaching tool
I like this app!! My 4 year old is learning the correct way to write the letters and numbers and he loves it. He's been working on it daily. It is very sensitive and the red light goes off on some of his letters, but it makes him want to try again and do it even better. I watch him when he is doing it and if he is making the correct movement and stills gets marked wrong, I tell him he did it fine and to try the next letter. I think it's a good app and teaches the correct movement to make the letters. So many kids nowadays make the letters incorrectly and it makes it harder to transition into cursive.
I love this app! It is perfect for early childhood pre-reading skills or for any child who needs practice with letter or number ID, writingnumbers, letters or words, sounds, fine motor, number order, etc. It has it all...even a whiteboard! It would be great if the sensitivity on tracing could be adjusted a little. Thanks! (from a veteran pre-k and kdg. teacher and literacy coach).
There are no preferences I can change in order for the tracing to be less exact. It's a kids game and I can't even make it happy! Additionally, I HATE that it has a specific order it wants the lines of the letter traced in. I really don't care which line my kid draws first as long as she's learning!
