Different, can be fun, and frustrating too.
This type of game reminds me of a couple of games I played on the original NES. It is one of those games where you simply have to find out what they want you to do in a picture like setting. They are fun until you get stuck on looking for whatever it is they want you to find, then you start to breath heavy, feel uncomfortable, and then you get the feeling that all you want to do is to stop playing. Yes there is a hint button, but using that makes you feel stupid. But thanks to the fact that this one has great graphics, the underwater aspect is cool, and they try to scare you a little, I am glad that I bought it.
Amazing game... In english!
This game is very, very good. It is similar to other Artifex Mundi games, which is good because they tend to be very well done, with excellent graphics, sound, music (beautiful non-intrusive music... I love your songs!), voice overs and game play. The animations are sometimes odd, specially when a character talks... But this is not important. This game truly deserves five stars!
If the main language of your computer is not english, then get ready for some odd translations. At least that's what happens in the spanish version. I wouldn't mind it very much if the game let me chose in what language I want to play, but I cannot chose (that's the reason I gave it one star less).
This can be addictive - STILL enjoying the game
I am new to these games so I am in casual mode right now on this one. For me, the whole game is fun, especially the mini-puzzles. Also, it is clear that casual mode can serve as a trainer if you will and I need that. I am sure I will vent more frustration as I progress into the other playing modes, but right now, I am having lots of fun.
I am still having a lot of fun. My wife’s honeydew list may wait awhile!
