Piece of Crap - Rarely Accurate

AccuWeather has never been ACCUrate about anything. Typically no matter what weather app you have installed (I have 5), they all usually give different temperature forecasts and different temperatures for a certain time during the day. It's pretty cool outside right now with constant winds blowing, yet AccuWeather says it's 72° but it really feels like 75°. I'm sorry, I know what 72° & 75° feels like and what I feel outside is cooler than that. Oddly enough, the other 4 apps not only say it's 68°, but it feels like 68° and I can vouch for that cuz that what my thermometer reads. Do your research on AccuWeather people and learn. We live in the Information Age yet most people act like we're living in the Dark Ages. Stop being ignorant by accepting the lies from corporate America. What? You didn't know that AccuWeather is a media company that gets all of its weather data from the tax-payer supported National Weather Service? Well in that case, you didn't know that in 2005 Senator Rick Santorum introduced legislation that would have forbidden the National Weather Service from providing any weather information directly to the public. The bill was never voted on since it was interpreted as an attempt by AccuWeather to profit off of taxpayer-funded weather research. Senator Santorum received campaign contributions from AccuWeather's president Joel Myers (what a surprise).

Good app; terrible update

I've recommended this app to many friends over the past couple of years and still see value in it, but this least update complicated the thing I like the most: the extended outlook & multi-city setting. Used to be you could set the number of days out you needed and scroll through to get a good overview and run down the week. Traveling? You could switch between cities you've saved to see how it's expected to be.
This latest update made it way more complicated so there is no longer a way to easily scroll through a couple of weeks.
I just don't understand the logic. Why did you guys release an update to make a core functionality *more* complicated? Why make us drill down several screens (that are not intuitively designed) to find the info we used to have on the main screen?
This is about 80% of what I use the app for on a daily basis. The other 20% would be the radar and the minute forecast if I'm about to walk the dog.
I'm giving it 2 stars because of those, but if they'd restore the old easy scroll-through extended forecast functionality, I'd bring it up to 5 stars.

Room for improvement

Like the app, much more serious about weather than the popular blue weather app! However I wish the app would provide an option to: 1) radar auto zoom to 50 mile radius location instead of start at a wide regional view, 2) provide less serious reflectivity color as storms appear stronger on radar than they actually seem in person and when compared to competing radar apps, 3) provide customizable percentages on the hourly forecast as it will show cloudy but it may be raining because the threshold was below 50% so allow it to be set to show precipitation chance with a bit more sensitivity at say 40% or some other setting perhaps even take radar speed into consideration also, 4) provide a trips forecaster to show the general and significant weather events that could be faced along a route at different times on a map, and 5) provide a daily briefing for customizable locations which shows the current weather, radar snapshot, and morning-afternoon-evening forecasts at 3 hour intervals to plan the day all in one page like a dashboard.
