iOS 7 compatibility bugs have been fixed.
Ruined my life. 5/5
I absolutely love this game, and I have a ridiculous amount of hours put into it. There are a couple of issues that affect the game minimally, one of them being typos. I've noticed a few typos here and there, but I don't mind them because none of them make the statements incoherent. Another problem is in Phoenix Wright: AA, Day 3 Investigation Former. Edgeworth will not complete his story about why the shield was changed and you cannot continue because you need to update the trophy in order for the next character to show up. However you can easily get around this by going through the main menu and choosing trial latter, this will bring you to the next immediate area directly after that trophy updates, so the only thing you will be missing will be a "finished" checkmark next to trial former. Overall this a great game, and definitely worth it if you're into story heavy games.
Good games, passable port
I got all three games in full. I finished the first game and I'm working on the second one. The games are good and I recommend them to EVERYONE. The following is only about the iOS versions in particular.
The first game was fine overall apart from a few graphical glitches (which fixed themselves upon restarting the application) and some minor typos. The second game actually hasn't had any graphical glitches, but the number of fairly-obvious typos and grammatical errors has increased at least threefold and it's weird. I don't even care that much about grammar; it's just seems unprofessional to release it with these problems. The errors are mostly in the dialogue, including misspellings, some "your/you're" ambiguity, absence or overabundance of commas, and even occasional switching "l" for "r" and vice versa. Especially the charming line, "Hmm, where [sic] there any other clues you could gleam [sic] from this piece of evidence?" (It should've been "were" and "glean.")
I don't know if these problems were in the GBA or DS versions... I'm just saying someone maybe should have proofread this a little more, at least in the dialogue. And it's not too late! They could just fix stuff and release updates, right?
But the games are good. The games are real good.
Amazing! No complains!
This is such an amazing port! I don't get why people complain so much; that's all they seem to know how to do.
Just because it's not optimized for iPhone 5 and on doesn't make it a bad game; I really don't look at it as an issue; it doesn't affect gameplay AT ALL. And the new graphics look pretty nice to me. The prices are also quite reasonable. Even though I got them on sale, they still are; 16 dollars for the Trilogy featuring Phoenix Wright with better graphics is quite a deal, since each game alone for DS is 20 dollars.
I really loved getting to play the first three games once more! I really hope you guys release Apollo Justice and both Miles Edgeworth's investigation games on iOS sometime soon!
