ACPL Family is designed for parents and caregivers of children of all ages, from birth through elementary school. It’s intended to be used by adults and children together, promoting age-appropriate learning and literacy development.


-Watch videos and listen to audio clips with examples of ways to incorporate reading, talking, singing, playing and writing into every day.

-Receive push notifications with early literacy tips for parents of babies, toddlers, and preschoolers, and fun facts to share with school-age children.

-Access an easy-to-use library events calendar, specifically for children’s programming, searchable by library location and age group.

-Keep track of time spent reading with our reading timer and log. This feature has the ability to log multiple users.

-Browse librarian-created booklists to find great titles to share with children on topics ranging from difficult family issues to fun stories for preschoolers.
