ACT's College Search helps users focus and narrow their prospects for postsecondary education. Searching by names and/or selecting preferences, users can arrive at a manageable number of institutions to investigate more thoroughly. They can view the profile, visit the webpage, and save "favorites" of nearly every two- and four-year, postsecondary education institution in the U.S.

This app is really great-one of the only college search apps out there I believe. It doesn't give a lot of information on the colleges (which you can look up more online) but you can narrow down you're prospects by looking for traits such as jobs, gpa, test scores, location, size of school, etc! I think this app is great to have a general view of lots of colleges to choose from.
I also agree with others in that the creators should update the app to the right years-but you can figure it out anyways, right?
I like the app, and I guess it's helpful, but I think the data isn't completely accurate. For example, I typed in Connecticut and a Mathematics major, and it told me there are no results when I know for a fact that UConn and more than likely MANY other colleges offer it. I tried the same thing with Actuarial Science, which is also offered at UConn, and the same thing happened.... Hmmm. Oh, and it'll randomly shut down sometimes, but that's not the key issue here..
Alright, but needs work
I am planning on going into pre-vet and was looking to see what colleges were near me. But it only listed a few colleges, and I know that certain colleges, such as NC state, offer a pre vet program, yet it was not included. I love the concept behind the app, but it needs work because it didn't give me and info that was actually beneficial (as there was only pre-vet programs listed under private schools in NC, when I know there are other schools that offer it within the state)
Overall, very disappointing app.
