If you have some Philips Hue Bulbs or need another reason to get some, here's an app you will love! By analyzing the color's on your screen it determines a color which is then set on selected Hue lights.
Three base algorithms + max brightness and usage of base colors(6 most beautiful colors hue can do) toggle included, which determine the color by different methods. Some are better for gaming, others better for movies and cartoons.
Some people complaint about the cpu usage, now there's a precision slider for reducing the precision and increasing the overall performance.
You will love playing games like Superhexagon with Action Light turned on!
What's New in Version 1.6
-Setting for turning off the lights on stop
-Setting for disabling notifications
wont open at all
i just puchased this app, doesnt open at all…how do i contact support?? i followed the support link and it goes to your blog, and see no way to contact u there? don’t you have an email or something? i guess i just wasted my money.
*****NOTE****** just found out app shows in menu bar when u open it…still dont like fact you cant contact developer with any questions. i had to figure out on my own. i dont like apps that offer no way to contact developers with questions about their product. the app is fair as far as usefulness.
Doesn’t work. Riddled with bugs.
This app is an menubar app, it initially does not open a window to show you what is going to happen, instead it shows a notification and during setup which is usually really easy with Philips Hue apps of any sort, the app floods your Notification Center. The app does not have an off-state menubar icon set for when Dark mode is on. But most importantly the setup does not work at all.. Why bother releasing an app that doesn’t work at all? Clearly shows great incompetance by this hobby developer.
Doesn’t work… at all
I’m surprised Apple and the App Store still have this available for purchase… I just made the mistake of purchasing this and then noticed the date of publishing… It’s already 4 years old, and there’s been no development or improvement, and appears there’s a lot of people complaining about support, or lack thereof. It’s a poor app, with poor execution.
