What's New in Version 2.4.10
• Support for iOS9
A new new mechanism for launching mobile applications from URL-links is now supported.
• Support for Custom Pods.
Custom Pods are like ‘mini-apps’ that you can add to your meetings to provide new features – such as closed captioning, playing YouTube videos, viewing Twitter® feeds, creating Sticky Notes, and participating in learning games. Now specifically designed Custom Pods, developed with HTML5, can be run within Adobe Connect Mobile allowing phone and tablet participants to view and interact as they would from a desktop
• Navigation UI change
Navigation between content windows (Share pods) is no longer available from a dropdown menu in the Share pod – which previously obscured part of the
content window. Users should now navigate back to the Overview mode, using
the left navigation bar, to choose between content available by clicking directly
on the content. This also eliminates any issues related to participants viewing
‘hidden’ content windows.
• A ‘Listen Only’ button has been added to the Join teleconference dialog when
using integrated audio conferencing. Now users can easily dismiss the
telephone keypad without dialing in.
• Bug fixes
how bad is this app? if I could give it negative ratings, I would
I didn't have my laptop while traveling and was trying to join an Adobe Connect meeting via my iPhone. After following the instructions and using the link provided by the meeting coordinator, I received the error that my "meeting does not exist." After calling the customer support line and emailing the meeting details to the agent, I received a reply from the customer service agent with a new link, which didn't work either. Then, instead of helping me figure out what was happening, the customer service agent then said "you will need to contact the meeting organizer for more details," and hung up without allowing me any time to ask further questions. Awful product. Clunky interface. Sad customer service. There is not one part of Adobe Connect Mobile that IS going well. I plan to avoid this app like the plague in the future, and let others know to use alternatives if at all possible when scheduling meetings. What a waste of my time and a horrible experience!
Glitch with iPhone Mic with app
within Adobe Connect, on iPhone6, IOS 8.1.3, Verizon, microphone will not work within mobile application. Have checked speaker/vibrate switch, in Settings/Privacy/Microphone, application does not show. Adobe Tech blames Apple. Mic & headset work fine. This looks like an Adobe software glitch.
First of all, you can't paste a url into it, which is beyond stupid because the urls for my classes are all very unique.
Second, all it does it route to safari which says I still need an adobe flash plugin that is only available on a desktop. So what's the point of this thing other than to be useless???
