Good job Adobe!

I use this app to preview my in-progress digital publications. Little by little Adobe is solidifying its place in digital media by constantly improving the tools through which designers create and present their best work.

I'm enjoying the new features that Adobe Viewer provides me with. Support for social media integration is a definite plus! Smoother zoom in and zoom out, and more natural page turn scrolling speed are a few small improvements I've noticed.

I would like to see the dark gray textured background make a come back though; it added a flare of sophistication when it came to presentation. Larger page icons in the contents menu would also be excellent. I hope in the near future, Adobe will be able to include official social media icons in the social media drop down menu; the current menu seems so generic. And last but not least, the filter icon looks more like a cellular network's signal icon. I think the designers at Adobe could do better.

This is an excellent app. I can't wait to see what other features Adobe will add. Great job!

Can't delete conent

I tried my hand at making my own .folio digital publication, and it went okay (a lot of features aren't supported for export yet, but that's all documented).

After I was done testing my publication, I decided to delete it. Great. Except there is still a thumbnail of the publication in the home menu, prompting me to download it again. I can't seem to get rid of that portion of it. I'll probably end up deleting the entire app and reinstalling it again.

Also, the Content Viewer is also available now as a desktop install, so there is really no need to side load your files to your tablet just to test it out, unless you really want that authentic experience.

Latest version seems unstable

The latest version (3.0.0) will frequently quit out of the internal web browser. I will tap a button to launch the internal browser, a page will start to load, but then the browser quits out, dumping me back to my article page. If I tap the button again, I will either experience the same partial load and quit or the app will crash altogether.

It also has issues with inline and streaming audio and video -- frequently quitting out of the app when launching video or audio.

In addition, the app signs me out much too often. More than once after the app has crashed, or even after I have quit the app on my own, when I relaunch, I find that I am signed out. Sometimes when I attempt to download new content, I will get an error message telling me to try again later, and the app will sign me out. After signing back in, I can usually download the updated content.

Granted, I am using a lowly iPad 1, but I do have plenty of storage space, so that's not the problem.

The previous version was much more stable.
