Annotation of protected documents seems to be broken

Great app overall, however the ability to annotate "protected documents" (such as a textbook I bought) seems to be broken. In particular, when I open the same file in the desktop Reader, the document is still correctly indicated as protected, however annotation is enabled. If I open the document's security settings from there, it seems that they are fine-grained enough to allow such modification (I believe thanks to the "commenting" rule that is allowed). The iPad app, on the other hand, doesn't seem to take into account these fine permissions and simply disallows any modification (including commenting/annotation) of the protected document. I'd really appreciate if the developers could fix this. Thank you.

okay. Idk wth is going on, but I am having so many bug issues with Adobe reader. In the past I have never encountered any problems, but BC this is a go to app for my textbooks, the fact that I am having issues right now is frustrating me.
My textbook will not load correctly. Everytime I tried to go to a new pages, it lags constantly. And it would do that every sing time I go to a new page. All it does is everything is blurred and half of the pages don't even load. When it loads, it would take forever to load. I'm a very busy person who has so much studying to do from my textbooks and the fact that this app is lagging so much to the point that the app just freezes and I have to close the app numerous times pisses me off. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE

Recently uploaded Folder

Adobe reader is the best app I have used for viewing PDF files on my iPad. However I believe it is deficient in one respect. There is no "recently uploaded/added” folder on the left side of the screen. Often I upload documents onto Adobe reader for reading that day or the following day but when I come home, I cannot find them because I forgot the file name. Having a recently uploaded/added folder will not make it necessary to remember file names of files recently uploaded to the app.
