Fun turned into something deep, fast!
I downloaded the app because I thought it would just be a fun to play with. To make silly stories and what not. I didn't have a clue what I was really going to talk about when I first hit record, but I found myself able to open up and away I have been in a long time and that took me to some really introspective and deep parts of myself and spirit. Parts that need a voice. The quality is amazing, but I think if you just let yourself talk freely, you too could be surprised at some of the beautiful aspects of you that you may stumble across.
Needs online access and narration import
Voice can be a quick, but it's very limiting to not have some type of web edit access AND the ability to import audio narration files. As it stands now, you must edit with a mobile device and you cannot import narration.
Attempts to use lightning connected miss are not reliable (Blue Spark). Even if they were, the app only allows you to use your very last recording. If you liked your earlier take better, too bad.
It's my feeling that Creative Cloud users at the very least should be given access to these functions, if not everyone. App is a great start but leaves much to be desired before it's feasible in most situations.
Really starting to like this
I typically use the Replay app for this sort of video creation but I'm really liking Adobe Voice. It is quite easy to record (and good audio too) a narration on top of images and quickly have a product to share.
It does however come a little short with two features I'd love to see. First, an undo feature is needed, and second, the ability to re-order screens is needed. (If these are already available, please forgive me for not seeing them.) I imagine these may be on the horizon in a soon to be released update. Thirdly, in the screen layout with full-screen image and text, options to position the text at the bottom or top would be great; oftentimes I just don't want text in the center.
Another feature that would really drive usage is allowing video clips. It might be a little longer with this one but would really be great if it could be added.
It is still, however, a great app. Thanks for building it Adobe.
