Cartoon Network for adults
This app has everything I want on it without having to spend all day waiting for the children's shows to get off the network. You can search an entire alphabetical list of the shows they offer and then choose what you'd like to watch (the only downfall is that some of the episodes require a cable television subscription which makes have the app a moot point) and then you also have access to other shows you didn't know existed because you'd couldn't usually stay awake that late on a work or school night. The daily marathons are great, there is a schedule for which shows are playing on what days and then you have unlimited ancestors to like twelve hours of streaming shows with a minor sixty second interruption between episodes every so often. They are animated though so you don't look attention during the minute the show is off the air.
Either way I'd recommend this app for every adult swim user out there who considers themselves a fan of the shows that come on Cartoon Network late at night when it's really worth watching.
Update 21 February: I think I may have spoke to soon. This app always freezes on me now and I miss large chunks of an episode since I have to close the app and reopen it. The daily marathon streaming feature isn't as good as I once thought it was. Sorry to mislead anyone who originally took my advice.
Update 17 April: no more freezing and there is also no more waiting for one more minute between episodes during the marathons!
Too Many Ads, Not Enough Content
As a long time user of this app, I'd like to say that before you entirely changed the format of this app, I used it every day to get a good dose of all my favorite shows. You guys used to have nearly every episode of every show available, particular Tim and Eric's Awesome Show Great Job! Now there's barely any content listed for that entire show, and a lot of other shows were either removed entirely or had so much of the content removed it's hardly worth wading through the sea of ads for. Which is another ridiculous 'improvement.' I see more ads just trying to watch an 11 minute episode of a show than I do actually watching in the evenings! Why would I want to use the app at all anymore? Even the streaming is horrible, and the layout in general is just confusing and unappealing to look at. A total reboot of this app should be on the table because it has just turned to crap lately. I installed it again just to see if some changes had been made for the better, and after an hour of use and 20 minutes of that usage being crashes, ads, and frustrated navigation, I'm ready to uninstall until the next overhaul on this app.
Only a masochist would give this app 5 stars..
Use to be fine with this app cause... Well Rick and morty. Until I almost broke my phone and not from excitement.. Started watching the newest episode after signing into my account, watched an add which is fine. Got a little into and and had to stop. Coming back to the episode I click resume and watch an add and then turns out the episode restarted. Well gee that's odd I thought I clicked resume? Oh well. Fast forward get to a bit more into it and 2:40 of adds come on, wow that's excessive but fine. :16 seconds of adds left and it freezes and won't start. Thinking that I'll just back out and try again and when it comes back I click resume again and oh.. It plays another add and starts the episode from the beginning. And then I fast forward to where I was an the 2:40 of adds start again.. Freezes again and then when I go out and back to it, (again clicking resume) it plays an add and starts from the beginning again.. Needless to say I'd rather tea bag a porcupine instead of using this app...
