Exercise Check Box Limitations
I love this app! The only problems I have with it are that if you have multiple sets of the same exercises (with the same number of reps) on the same day, when you do one of them and check it off it automatically marks the other iterations of that exercise complete, too. So when I have three circuits of burpees for 30 seconds each, when I finish the first one and mark it done, it marks all the sets of burpees as being done. This is annoying because I can’t accurately track how far I am into my workout! Also, this app doesn’t work well with progressive overloading. I have three sets of squats, with the first one at 50% max weight, second set at 75% max, and third at full max weight. Unfortunately, when it asks me to input the amount of weight I’m using each time, it erases the weight I used for the set before that and replaces it with the new number. Fix these things, and the app would be perfect!
What Else this app Needs
This app is great and functions as described. The extra options that could be added are being able to have a complete restart button just like the one that already exists, it’s only a restart option for specific workouts. I am not sure if this next issue happens on all different influencers workout programs but it does happen on Ryan Casey’s program on this app. When I input new weight numbers for one exercise then it’s applied to all other days with the same weight. One day will call for 65% of your max so you input that number. Come the second time you hit they exercise in the same week and you’re told to do 10 reps of it but no specific instruction as to how much weight or even the % to do this at. More instruction or explanations as to why you are doing the number of reps you’re doing and what weight. On at least a quarter of he exercises this information in unclear.
Apple Watch please
I absolutely love this app, however, I would even love it more with my Apple Watch! I recently found out that you can pay with iTunes money and I even loved that more because I had some iTunes money just laying around and not actually money; because you know broke college kid. So that enticed me to actually buy grace fit guide even more. So if this became available on a watch app this would be so enticing to all those people who have the series 3 and just ditch a phone during a work out. I know that when I’m in the app and I don’t immediately do the work outs then I lolly gag on my phone and play games which is just bad over all because then I never get a good work out in. But over all amazing.
