*****iPAD APP OF THE DAY! - TUAW.COM
The Air Harp app does an excellent job reproducing the sound of a harp. The virtual harp has 15 strings representing two octaves of notes in G Major. You can now also alter each string and play it sharp or flat by tapping and holding the corresponding key on the left panel. That's 30 additional notes! Tap the strings to create your own tune, or use sheet music to play a well-known song. The app includes several pieces of sheet music, and you can buy additional collections for 99-cents each.
Air Harp is enjoyable and relaxing for the music-oriented adult. Unlike other music apps which require you to tap falling dots on a screen, the app uses real notes and strings which makes it an excellent learning tool for children.
Fantastic! - I own a lot of apps that I use to create music and design sound, but this is the only one that can put me into a euphoric state while playing it. Truly, you have created something of great value and beauty. I would give it a hundred stars if I could. Thank you.
I love it! - I think i'm going to cry soon! IT'S JUST SOOOOOO BEAUTIFUL!
NEW & IMPROVED! In Version 4 you will find great features for the iPad that our fans have been asking for. Tap & Strum are now combined to make a more fluid playing experience. Plus, multi-page music support for sheet music.

What an instrument
The sounds of the strings are fantastic
Just downloaded this highly praised app. I don't get the high praise unless I am really missing something. The basic download comes with some simple songs, you have to pay door additional one at 99 cents for 5 -- which is way too high for what you get. The sheet music doesn't scroll, these are all very short renditions of mostly children's songs and we're not talking Miley Cyrus's "The Climb" we are talking "On Top of Spaghetti". It's kind of like charging people to play "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" -- oh, wait it is exactly like that. While the app looks elegant and plays beautifully, it is highly deficient. Can it record my composition, save it, allow me to change it, and play it back? No. Can it play it's own sheet music so you can hear what the music is supposed to sound like first? Not that I could ascertain, "Played for hours," one reviewer wrote. More like played door 45 seconds, paid 99 cents for 5 songs and played for 45 seconds more. Wow! I don't like to diss the work of app artists, but this app was not worth the money, not even close.
Fun, but needs more songs, also have suggestions for improvement
I'm going to echo the sentiment that we need more ability to play music that uses both hands. I have a couple of suggestions-
Perhaps the ability to load sheet music - not necessarily air-harp formatted music, just the ability to see music we want to play on the page for those who can read it would be excellent, though it might be difficult considering the iPad real estate taken up by the harp itself.
Would also be nice to have a mode to record the notes of original songs in the air harp music format, so that it can be loaded and played at any time.
More music that uses more than just one string at a time - iPads allow us to touch multiple things at once, no reason why we can't have music that uses even 4 fingers at a time (it'd be fun and impressive to do).
Longer songs and the ability to turn in an auto-page turning function, that knows when we've reached the end if the page and automatically turns to the next one.
They're also very expensive for how long the songs are currently - I'd be far more inclined to buy more if they were 'proper' songs. Pachelbel's Canon for instance is just a very short part of the intro, and you're instructed to repeat it over and over.
If any of these are implemented in the future (or all of them hopefully :) I will gladly update my review to 5 stars.
