Not Most Intuitive, But Who Cares
AFWD has a pretty simple interface. In search mode, it collects bookings from different travel sites in one place and organizes them by the cheapest (this is what I used the most). When opening the app you can see what flights from your city are the cheapest the coming weekend (round trip, to anywhere) which is also pretty cool. I haven't used the update/notification aspects of the app, they don't seem to be the most user-friendly.
Overall, if you are looking for an app that collects various flight bookings from your city to another with specific travel dates- this is the app for you. It neatly organizes them and allows you to search through several travel engines. If you are looking to be constantly updated on the cheapest flights from your city, this may not be the app for you.
Basic but does what I want
I actually really like this app. I was looking for something that would give me the best fare departing from my city to ANYWHERE and this app does just that. I don't have a particular destination in mind, and quite frankly I don't care when or where, just want to pick up and go. There aren't any other apps that will do this including Expedia, Kayak, etc ( they all require a destination). I am yet to use it for a booking so I can't comment on availability of fares as someone mentioned they can't find the actual fares listed.
Great, easy to use app
Love this app for finding deals on flights leaving from my city. I also love that it allows you to compare travel sites when going to buy your ticket. They must have updated since all the old reviews, because I think this app is great!
