What's New in Version 2.6.6
Improved In-Store Map Experience:
We've made new improvements to the in-store mapping experience that allows for quicker updates to all the store maps and the searchable products within those stores.
Shopping list + location = cool app
Glad to see that this cool app is getting even better. I love the fact that it's taken my paper grocery list process and put it on my phone. It also comes in handy when I'm trying to find something not on my usual shopping list... much better than trying to hunt down a store employee (who sometimes won't know where the item is either).
This app covers most of the stores I use in the St. Louis area. While they may not have every store you go to, they do have (by far) the most stores and maps of anybody out there. Even for stores without maps, I've found the general shopping list to do a decent job categorizing my items. Anything to get through the store faster!
Overall really good
Really great way to keep shopping lists for many stores. Responsive when you tell them which retailer you'd like them to add to their list.
For groceries in particular the in store aisle mapping is just remarkable. Truly a brave new world.
One minor irritation - recipe ingredients load, but full recipe page consistently shows up as "error". Otherwise would have given four stars.
Even so, this app is genuinely helpful for daily shopping lists and in store location of items. Saves time and effort. Not flashy, but solid.
Aisle 411 Does Not Work
I went shopping today at a Lowe's and a Dominick's Grocery.
I could not find 2 items at Lowe's. Aisle 411 was off by half the store. I asked a salesman for help. He said he had been off work for three days and in that time many items had been moved around. He had trouble finding my items. With that kind of inventory manipulation how could Aisle 411 ever hope to keep up?
The situation at Dominick's was the same. I could not find three items. Aisle 411 was no help. Again the stocker that I asked for help had to ask for help himself.
Aisle 411 is a great idea but the implementation is so poor for the stores I use that the app is useless to me. Each user can judge for himself.
